All our refrigeration products are free from harmful CFC gases, which damage the ozone layer and packaging is made from re-cycled materials, thereby reducing the consumption of raw materials. All of this means that waste is kept to a minimum. Europe is responsible for around 30% of total domestic energy consumption; around 40% of this is from refrigeration. We have implemented technical innovations such as high efficiency compressors, optimized circuitry and new insulating materials to ensure energy consumption is kept to a minimum.

To help you make an informed decision you will find energy efficiency labelling on our products where applicable, “A” rated being the best. Choosing an energy efficient model will be cheaper to run and will mean savings for its owner. Ecology has influenced the design of our products. Residual heat generated in one area can be recycled in another, therefore reducing total energy consumption.

Double and triple glazed oven doors prevent heat from dispersing outside the cavity, which improves energy efficiency, this also means that the external parts of the oven remain cool to the touch. We also have hobs which monitor the heat on a burner and cut the gas supply when there is a drop in temperature, ensuring no gases are wasted and provide a valuable safety feature - the flame should always be pale blue, if it is not, then toxic gases may be produced.
